PCAC Member Kevin Hull Shares Story of Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment in WGN-TV Segment
This week, Patient Community Advisory Committee Member Kevin Hull was featured on WGN-TV in a segment that tells his story of facing a rare form of cancer: bilateral testicular cancer.
Despite a late diagnosis, Kevin’s urologic oncologist, Dr. Shilajit Kundu of Northwestern Medicine, effectively navigated his cancer treatment while prioritizing his goal to continue to grow his family. Though the treatment was trying, Kevin and his family ultimately achieved a successful outcome: he was cured of cancer and welcomed a baby boy.
Kevin now uses his experience to mentor patients who face a similar diagnosis.
